Andy Milburn Louise is a fantastic singer and a jolly nice person to boot. In the past she has helped me out with various projects for musical theatre and I have always found her to be reliable and professional. Oh, and she also has a good sense of humour..... |
Anthony Witt Over the last 3 years Louise has sung at around 10 Witt Studio Showcases and also sung the soprano part of Diana for me in a production of Orpheus In The Underworld (original 1858 version.) She has successfully tackled a wide spectrum of repertoire - music-theatre songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kander and Ebb and Maury Yeston, intensely reflective Mozart and Tchaikovsky, thrilling performances of Wagner, Puccini and in the last showcase a fine version of the Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana. In the latter her mighty soprano voice easily dominated a strong chorus of 85 voices. She has a convincing stage presence and is equally capable of undertaking dramatic and comedic roles. I have found her to be reliable and fun to work with. I have just asked her to sing again at my next concert. Anthony Witt - musical director. |
Barbera Whitehead I saw the best show Ive seen for a long time when Louise and James Church performed locally. Louises voice is exquisite - she went from serious to funny without loosing any professionalism! I was totally enthralled the whole evening. |
Betty Roe Considerable presence and atmosphere |
Bucks Free Press Amusing and witty with a sense of fun thrown in for good measure |
